EHMA is glad to announce that, following numerous requests, the deadline for submitting abstracts for EHMA 2023 has been extended for two more weeks. You have time until Friday, 17 February 2023 at 17.00 CET to send your health management research alongside 200+ other submitters.  

Since 1982, EHMA has been striving to building resilient health systems and excellent health management practices. We facilitate knowledge and best practice sharing in all our portfolio of activities, and our Annual Conference is certainly the preeminent European conference in health management where you can have access to the entire healthcare ecosystem. EHMA 2023 is a scientific conference: researchers, practitioners and health managers are invited to submit abstracts of their research to inform the conference program with case studies, best practices, and the latest scalable models.  

This year the Conference theme is ‘Health management: sustainable solutions for complex systems’. EHMA 2023 will dive into the complexities of health systems through plenaries, abstract sessions and workshops. Attendees will have the chance to discuss challenges and define possible solutions together. 

The conference will address the health management practice through five tracks:  

  • Governance, leadership and social responsibility 
  • Management, operations and practice 
  • Human capital, professionalism and people management 
  • Finance and economics  
  • Policy and regulations

Additionally, five current topics have been selected:  

  • People-centred systems 
  • Health technology and digital transformation  
  • Workforce of the future 
  • Sustainable and resilient health systems
  • Healthcare access, delivery and outcomes

Tracks and topics have been identified in consultation with our Board of Directors, our Scientific Advisory Committee, and our membership.
